Residual Absolute Volume/Cement Ratio

The FIP Manual of Lightweight Aggregate Concrete, References 25, suggests that the effect of air entrainment on concrete strength may be catered for by using the residual-absolute-volume/cement ratio instead of the free water/cement ratio to estimate concrete strength. Firstmix adopts this suggestion for the mix design of lightweight concrete.
